ANGMA Young Investigator Travel Awards – Now Open for Applications

ANGMA is pleased to offer two (2) Travel Awards valued at $2,500 each to support Young Investigator ANGMA members attending the Federation of Neurogastroenterology & Motility (FNM) Conference.

These awards are designed to help cover travel expenses and support the presentation of high‑quality research at an international forum.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be an ANGMA member and an early‑career researcher, defined as one of the following at the application deadline:

    • Currently enrolled in a PhD

    • Up to 5 years post‑PhD

    • Advanced Trainee in Gastroenterology

    • Basic Physician Trainee

    • Post‑Graduate Fellow in Neurogastroenterology & Motility

  • Have a first‑authored abstract accepted for presentation at the FNM Conference

Assessment Criteria

Applications will be assessed based on:

  • Quality of the research abstract

  • Impact of the research work

  • Benefit to career development
